J. Dell Crosslin
|
J.
Dell Crosslin With more than 30 years of experience, J. Dell Crosslin is the President of STAT Solutions, LLC. STAT Solutions is a physician practice service organization (PPSO). Dell has served as a business advisor to numerous medical practices and physicians in the areas of revenue enhancement, strategic planning, information technology studies, development of financial statement packages and valutions. He has served numerous securities and exchange commission clients, and clients involved in information technology, healthcare, not-for-profit, construction, real estate, transportation, advertising, retailing, food service and numerous other industries.
His work includes projects for Community Care, AIM Healthcare, CBLPath Laboratories, Baptist Healthcare Center, Meharry Medical College, Radiation Oncology, Upstream Rehabilitation, Southwestern/Great American, Tom James, Athlon, Inc., Metropolitan Transit Authority, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, Belmont University, Union University, the Murfreesboro City School System, the Sumner County Government, and Nashville Public Television.
Dell is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the Advisory Board of Region IV – Small Business Administration and on the Small Business and Education committee. back

Terry Saltsman
|
Terry W. Saltsman
is the
Principal of Information Technology
Assurance, and Chief Information Officer
(CIO), at Crosslin & Associates. Dr.
Saltsman is a specialist in information
system assurance and digital security.
He has written and presented numerous
whites papers on computer crime and
security issues at organizations such as
Argonne National Laboratory, Lawrence
Livermore National Laboratory and The
Pentagon. Dr. Saltsman has also lectured
recently on information assurance before
organizations such as the Information
Systems Audit and Control Association,
the Association of Information
Technology Professionals and the
Association of State Chief Information
Officers. He specializes in
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, HIPAA
compliance, multilevel security systems
planning, and digital forensic
investigations.
Before
coming to Crosslin & Associates Dr.
Saltsman served as the CIO for the
Joint Force Headquarters of the
Tennessee National Guard and as the
acting CIO for The National Guard
Bureau in Washington, DC. He has
been an advisor to political
campaigns, elements of the
intelligence community, served on
information systems disaster and
security task forces, and testified
before both the United States House
of Representatives and the United
States Senate.
A
Professional Engineer, Dr. Saltsman
is a member of the Information
Systems Audit and Control
Association, the Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners, the
Information Systems Security
Association, the Association of
Information Technology
Professionals, and the American
Society of Civil Engineers. He is
also a member of the CIO Forum, a
national discussion group on
information system issues, and
periodically serves as an adjunct
professor at Tennessee State
University. Dr. Saltsman holds a
Bachelor of Science degree from
Vanderbilt University, a Master's of
Engineering from the University of
Tennessee, and a Ph.D. in
Environmental Policy from The Union
Institute, where he studied
Management of Technology in
Environmental Systems.
Dr. Saltsman has written compliance
and security articles in a number of
sources including the Federal
Government Security Weekly, Defense
News, Nashville Medical News, and
the Nashville Business Journal.
Currently he is authoring the
chapter “The PLA is at Your Digital
Gate,” to be published in China’s
Asymmetrical Warfare Planning for
the 21st Century (2008).

Rhonda Sides
|
Rhonda W. Sides is the Principal for Healthcare Services and Business Valuation and Litigation Services for Crosslin & Associates and for STAT Solutions. Rhonda has experience in all aspects of healthcare, taxation, and retirement plan administration. She lectures nationally for various healthcare and financial organizations regarding the issues of combining the practicality of accounting with the needs of healthcare practice management. Rhonda has been named as one of Middle Tennessee’s top healthcare executives three years in Nashville Business Journal’s Healthcare 100 for 2002, 2003, and 2006 and also recognized for BizWomen profile in 2005 and Healthcare Hero in 2007. Proficient in management issues of many types of healthcare entities, Rhonda specializes in physician practice management issues, HIPAA compliance, Stark compliance and physician compensation issues, entity contracts, practice valuations, cost accounting, operational assessments, accounts receivable, and financial feasibility issues related to group and integrated delivery system development.
A Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Georgia and Tennessee, Rhonda is a member of the Georgia and Tennessee Societies of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Consulting Group, LC, an association of valuation and accounting firms across the country that specialize in business valuation and litigation support services. Rhonda holds the valuation credentials of Accredited Business Valuator (ABV) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and a member of the National, Tennessee, and Nashville Chapters of Medical Group Management Association. She is also a board member and past president of Middle Tennessee Healthcare Executives Association, an associate member of the American Society of Appraisers, and a member of Healthcare Financial Membership Association. She served on the Healthcare Committee for the Tennessee Society of CPAS and was an adjunct MBA professor for three years at The Massey School of Belmont University of Nashville. Rhonda graduated from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy.
Rhonda has written practice management related articles published in various sources including the Nashville Business Journal, Healthcare Financial Management, The Physician’s Advisory, Nashville Medical News, and the Southern Medical Association’s quarterly newsletter. She is also the co-author of two books, Valuation of a Medical Practice (April 1999) and Accounting Handbook for Medical Practices (April 2000), both published by John Wiley & Sons of New York.

Chuck Tomlin
|
Chuck Tomlin is a Principal for Taxation for Crosslin & Associates and STAT Solutions and Crosslin & Associates. With more than 17 years of experience, Tomlin has significant expertise in providing tax compliance and consulting services to individual and business clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, real estate and financial services. He most recently served as senior manager of tax services at Lattimore, Black, Morgan & Cain. Throughout his career, he has also worked for several other public accounting firms, including the Nashville office of a Big Four firm.
Tomlin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He currently serves on the Scholarship Awards Committee for the TSCPA. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lipscomb University and a master’s degree in accountancy with an emphasis on taxation from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. back to top

Justin Crosslin
|
Justin Crosslin Justin Crosslin is the Chief Operating Officer for Stat Solutions. His responsibilities include: management of company finances, operations, human resources as well as oversight of all administrative staff. As the financial operations analyst for Outpatient Imaging Affiliates where he conducted feasibility analysis for new services and worked to streamline billing, budgeting, and financial projection systems. Justin also served as a governmental operations consultant for Hospital Corporation of America, Where he created plans and advised all hospitals and outpatient centers on how to remain compliant with the governmental regulations, particularly on the Outpayment Prospective Payment System. Justin also spent over 2 years managing the business operations of 2 HCA hospitals and one outpatient center near Chattanooga. While with Hospital Corporation of America Justin received the HCA Star Award for his outstanding work with the Governmental Operations Department.
Prior to his experience with HCA’s governmental operations, Justin served as Director of Financial Operations, Justin served as Director of Financial Operations where he created and implemented company wide budgets and projections. Lastly, Justin worked for and physician practice management company, Women’s Health Partners, where his responsibilities included due diligence and financial management oversight of multiple physician practices spread across 4 states.
He received his bachelor’s degree from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and master’s degree in business administration from the Owen School of Vanderbilt University. He has served on the board of directors and remains a current member of Leadership Healthcare/Young Health Care Leaders and serves on Montgomery Bell Academy’s Young Alumni Board. He also is a member of the American Institute and Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. back

Mina Vidal
|
Mina Vidal serves as the Billing Manager for Stat Solutions. Mina has more than 10 years of management experience in the healthcare industry. She previously served as Director of Central Business Office Operations for HealthSouth, and has also worked as a Practice Administrator for private practice specialists.
Most recently, she served as interim Practice Administrator for Fertility Specialists Medical Group, Inc. (FSMG) in San Diego, CA, managing day-to-day opera¬tions, personnel, and business financials. In addition, she spearheaded the construction and AAAASF credentialing process for FSMG’s new ambulatory surgery center. Her billing experience includes serving as Director of Operations for TeamPraxis/DataHouse Inc. in Honolulu, HI, where she had direct, hands-on oversight of the accounts receivable collections for medical billing clients in various specialties. In this capacity, she conducted client office workflow analysis and negotiated reimbursement rates with government and commercial payers. She also served as the subject matter expert for the development of ConnxtMD© PM, a proprietary software utilized by TeamPraxis clients.
Mina received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Hawaii and is a longtime member of the Medical Group Management Association.
